A definite touch of urban chic! These rubber products are made from the silky smooth inner wheel of tyres. It is so tactile and soft, you’ll think they are made from leather! The craft people select the most beautiful naturally occurring textures from the individual pieces of rubber, making each product unique. They then clean it and carefully cut the rubber finishing the products with high quality buckles and zips turning them into products you’ll be truly proud of. Not bad for a load of landfill fodder tyres...
These products are made in conjunction with two Mexican charities dedicated to educating on recycling, sustainable resources and skills training for vulnerable groups. They are all created by hand from factory second crisp packets, can ringpulls and recycled car tyres by women's groups, environmentalists and a prisoner skills training group.
